Scott Myers is Senior Assistant Attorney General with the Ohio’s Office of Attorney General, Mike DeWine. Scott began his career there as Chief of the Opinions section, and has served in his current capacity for the 14 years. Prior to that, Scott served as Senior Law Clerk to the Honorable Chief Justice Thomas J. Moyer of the Ohio Supreme Court and preceding that by the same position for The Honorable John W. McCormac of the Tenth District Court of Appeals. In all, Scott has over 21 years of service to the citizens of Ohio. In January 2010, Scott began his first term as a member of Worthington City Council. Prior to that, Scott spent eight years on the Architectural Review Board and Municipal Planning Commission. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from DePauw University and obtained his law degree with honors from Capital University Law School. Scott is a resident of Worthington and has been married to wife Mindy for 28 years, and they have three children: Jake, who currently serves in the United States Army; Logan, a freshman in collage; and Zoë, a junior at Linworth AP. Scott serves on the Board since 2010.
