Dr. Ted Sun, Adult Program Designer and Lead Faculty, was born in Shanghai, China and moved to the U.S. at the age of ten. He attended The Ohio State University where he graduated with honors with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He furthered his academic career with an MBA, also from OSU. Dr. Sun also holds a Doctorate of Management in Organizational Leadership and is a doctorate in Organizational Psychology. As an executive development expert, Dr. Sun coaches many leaders on the principles that have helped to reshape their lives. He lives by the motto: “Enabling systemic shifts in thought around the world and leading humanity towards evolution from within.” Dr. Sun holds Adjunct Professor appointments at eight universities across the world, including Vice Chancellor of Academics and program designer for Europe’s online SMC University in Zurich, Switzerland, where he initially served as Professor. He is author of two books: Survival Tactics: The Top 11 Behaviors of Successful Entrepreneurs, published in 1972, and Inside the Chinese Business Mind: A Tactical Guide for Managers, published in 2010; he authored 37 published articles between 2003-2010; and, 51 expert commentary and features. His work has been featured on ABC, NBC, Entrepreneur Magazine, Harvard Update, LA Times and the Chicago Tribune, to name only a few. In addition to being awarded Faculty of the Year in 2006 at University of Phoenix, he has received numerous awards and recognition for his professional work. Dr. Sun has presented at 25 major professional functions and conferences including the 2007 Global Conference on Business and Economics in Rome and the 2008 National Conference on Diversity, Race and Learning. He is Chief Dream Maker, President/CEO and Founder of Executive Balance. He is Vice President of the Board for The Wellness Forum Foundation for Kids, volunteers for Leadership Worthington, and has initiated projects for other organizations locally. Ted designed, and facilitates, the Adult Leadership Development Program since 2005.
